Useful notes for Audion 1.0 users

Since Audion 2.0 is a complete rewrite of Audion, a lot of things have changed, and a lot of things you may be used to might be a little different. But it shouldn't take any time at all for you to get used to 2.

Modes

Audion previously stressed the concept of seperate modes for each audio type. For example, you would go into CD mode to play an audio CD. In Audion 2, the hard concept of modes has been removed, giving you much greater flexibility in how you play your audio.

Almost all audio can now be played by opening a new playlist and dragging the audio files into the playlist, and hitting play on the control window. This includes Audio CDs and network audio streams, which can now be added to playlists.

Tip: Experiment with Audion's menus to find useful functions.
